NY Post: Women’s Media Conference Aims to Reveal Secrets to Success

Want to know what women media executives really talk about behind closed doors?

“The Cosby Show” and “Nurse Jackie” producer Caryn Mandabach and former MTV Networks boss Judy McGrath are scheduled to speak at a new conference, “Keynotes and Cocktails: Women of New York.”

While women’s networking events are everywhere, this one bills itself as getting beyond the typical platitudes from the podium to reveal the secrets of getting to the top as a woman.

“You’re going to hear stuff you don’t typically hear at women’s events,” event founder and journalist Melissa Grego told On the Money.

There’s a strong likelihood of swearing and drinking, but don’t expect any violin playing, because this isn’t a pity party.
Also speaking are UTA’s Nancy Gates, who reps comedian Samantha Bee; New York Film Commissioner Julie Menin; and Christina Miller, president of Cartoon Network.
The event will be next Tuesday, Dec. 6th at the Paley Center.
