Melinc (mel-link) is a consulting practice led by journalist Melissa Grego, former Editor-in-Chief of TV business publication Broadcasting & Cable.

Melinc was founded with a mission: To connect, inform and empower the entertainment, media and tech community and promote gender equality within it.

Tapping Grego’s nearly 20 years of experience in business journalism and her network in media and entertainment, Melinc specializes in:

• conference and event production, from concept, programming and logistics to marketing and development of partners and sponsors
• editorial content creation and strategy
• consulting and advisory projects, including strategic business introductions

While leading B&C’s print, digital and live events efforts, Grego created, launched and produced the off-the-record Keynotes & Cocktails: Women of NY and Women of the West conference series designed to empower and connect women working in media, entertainment and tech. Keynotes & Cocktails is now owned and operated by Melinc and one of several company initiatives to promote gender equality in the business community.

In January 2017, Melinc launched the Melinc Newsletter (read it here and subscribe here), a monthly pipeline of insight and resources to inform, inspire and connect people working in media and entertainment. At the same time, we also launched our YouTube channel — subscribe to it here.
